Amy and I were cousins and when my father went to Hadley from Dallas for visits he would take us also. Our uncle, Walt Gilger, had a buggy and poney and would run us up and down the Hadley road. And then my father inherited the Hadley (Gilger and son) and he and mother moved to Hadley. I then started genealogy and really have enjoyed the history of all my relatives. Several years ago, I was in Orlando and Amy came to visit. We had such a great time recalling old memories.

I will greatly miss Amy and all the fun we had in Hadley – going to the drive-in theatre, roller skating, etc. She was a sweet person and always wanting to do something for us. I just wish I had spent more time with her. Her brother, Jim, Bob Chamberlain, Margot Chamberlain Kia and myself are all that is left

    Bless Amy.

My heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to her family. I met her several years ago through a doctors office and she had a profound impact on me in so many ways. What a beautiful, gracious, kind, and truly awesome lady that I have ever met. She offered much wisdom and strength. She is in fact with Archie and smiling down on us, as I recently discovered a white feather. She passed on my birthday and I will forever remember her fondly.
