Anna Marie (Kerr) Uber, age 97, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday evening, March 9, 2017 in the ER of UPMC Horizon Greenville.
She was born in Greenville on February 5, 1920 to Harry and Lillian (Dwyer) Kerr. She was a 1937 graduate of St. Michael High School.
Anna was employed as a Bank Teller in Greenville for twenty-seven years, beginning her career with Farmers and Merchants Bank and retiring from the former First Seneca Bank.
She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, and also was a member of the former Greenville Country Club, where she enjoyed golfing for many years. Her other interests included, playing bridge and cards, traveling and spending time in Florida.
On July 20, 1939 she married Charles (Chuck) Uber, he passed away August 22, 1995.
She is survived by a son, Charles R. “Bob” Uber, Jr. and his wife Ronda of Greenville; a sister, Norma Gilman of Pasadena, CA, three grandsons, Charles R. “Bob” Uber III, Mark R. Uber and Corey R. Uber and two great-grandchildren, Braden D. Uber and Rilee R. Uber.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Mary E. Aldrich, Margaret “Peg” Kerr, and Florence Cheles, and two brothers, Harry W. “Brick” Kerr, Jr. and Joseph T. Kerr.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 85 N. High St., Greenville, PA 16125.
Arrangements have be entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.

So sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. Yes, she was a great card player. She and my mother, Norene. McAndrew Hamilton, played and lots of cards together for many years. She was such a nice pleasant lady . My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ann trained me as a teller @ First Seneca many years ago. She was such a sweet lady.
