Anna Marie Valentage, age 91, of Perry Hwy., Perry Twp., Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, January 15, 2023.

She was born in Mutual, PA on July 15, 1931 to Joseph and Anna Marie (Mazur) Urban. She was a graduate of Hurst High School in Norvelt, PA. On October 25, 1952 she married Francis T. Valentage, he passed away on December 14, 2021.

Anna had been employed as a lamp assembler and designer at Crown Imperial Lighting in Greensburg and then had worked as a baker at the former Lean’s Bakery in Greenville. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Mercer. Anna enjoyed flower gardening, cooking for her family, creating many wedding cakes throughout the years, wintering with her late husband in Vero Beach FL and crocheting with a local group in Greenville.

She is survived by her two daughters; Carol A. Chason and her husband Steve of Transfer and Nancy M. Valentage of Webster, NY, a sister; Florence Siard and her husband William of Valencia, PA, two brothers; Clement Urban and his wife Jeanne of Oil City, PA and Joseph Urban and his wife Carol of Mercer, a granddaughter; Melinda Dubic and five great-grandchildren; Bailey Chason, Maria Chason, Wyatt Chason, Noah Chason and Adam Dubic. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother; Walter Urban and a grandson; Christopher Chason.
