Elisha J. “Lash” Field, age 106, of the Ridgewood at St. Paul's and formerly of Jamestown, passed away Monday afternoon, November 21, 2016 in UPMC Horizon Greenville.

He was born in Mt. Vision, NY on February 13, 1910 son of Elmer and Maggie (VanBuren) Field. He was a graduate of Hartwick High School in New York, graduated from Beckley College, Harrisburg, PA with an accounting degree, and received a funeral director/embalming license.

On September 9,1934 he married Frances (Reed) Field; she passed away October 3, 2005.

He owned and operated Westford Milling for 33 years. He was a member of Westford United Methodist Church, Westford. Lash was a Charter member of Jamestown Lion's Club, 63 year member of Adelphic Lodge # 424, and Century Chapter Eastern Star # 100.

He is survived by two daughters, Doris Livingston and her husband David of Jamestown, Mary Ann  Stuyvesant and her husband Phillip of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; a special nephew, Bill Field of Glens Falls, NY; five grandchildren, David Livingston and his wife Terri of Jamestown, Donna Livingston Smith and her husband Duane of Maryland, Dennis Livingston and his wife Cheryl of Hartstown, Eric Stuyvesant and his wife Michelle of Garland, TX, Nathan Stuyvesant and his wife Betsy of Uniontown, OH; four step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and five brothers, Van Field, Jay Field, Ossian Field, Byron Field, and Lincoln Field, and a granddaughter-in-law, Pamela Stuyvesant.
