Marilyn J. Frazier, age 78, formerly of Hermitage and Coal Hill Rd., W. Salem Twp., passed away Wednesday morning, December 7, 2016 in St. Paul's. 

She was born in Cochranton, PA on March 13, 1938 to Lawrence H. and Margaret J. (McClellandand) Oakes.  She was a 1956 graduate of the former Penn High school and for over 20 years had been employed at many different car dealerships in the Mercer County area.  Marilyn was a member of Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville where she had been the treasurer for 25 years.  She was also a member of Order Of The Eastern Star #63. 

On July 4, 1959 she married Francis M. Frazier, he passed away February 14, 2012. 

She is survived by a daughter, Julie Gartner and her husband Darrin of Reading, PA; two sons, Neil A. Frazier of Alma, AK, and Tom F. Frazier and his wife Rhonda of W. Middlesex; a sister, Louise Patton and her husband Don of Casper, WY; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Betty Oakes.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville, with Rev. Sean Hall, Pastor of the church, officiating.  Entombment of cremains will be in St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Unit of St. Paul's, 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
