William E. Thompson, age 54 of Comstock Ave., Conneaut Lake, passed away Wednesday morning, November 30, 2016 in his residence of natural causes.
He was born in Greensburg, PA on May 23, 1962 son of Earl E. and Edna E. (Patton) Thompson. He was a 1980 graduate of Jeannette Senior High School.
He was an umpire for various little league games and was previously an EMT at Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department.
On October 15, 1983 he married Margaret (Haas) Thompson, she survives.
He is survived by a son, Steven Thompson and his wife Amanda of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Melissa Norris and her husband Dustin of Transfer; a sister, Helen Long and her husband Timothy of Jeannette, PA; a brother, Ronald Thompson and his wife Linda of Adamsburg, PA; a grandson, Darien Norris; a granddaughter, Jasmine Norris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, and a brother-in-law, Edward McAllister.
