Dear Laura and family…….Thinking of you at this difficult time. Your mom was such a sweet lady. I remember her so well when she used to drive Ann and Steve’s school bus. I know words can’t begin to comfort you at this sad time, but wanted to let you know I am thinking about you.

Thoughts and prayers to your family. Barb drove bus in Hartstown and got my boys to school safety for a few years. She was always pleasant and was great with my boys.

My sympathy to all the family for the loss of Barb. She and I attended the same grade school. I ran into her the day before her surgery. She had such a positive attitude about beating the cancer. I am sorry she did not. She will be remembered for her courage in her fight.

To Jim and family, Your wife and mother was one of those people that brought a smile to your face when you met up somewhere. She taught me how to quilt. A gift I will always treasure. Each and every time I make a quilt, Barb always comes to mind. The many hints and words of encouragement she offered as I struggled to learn to piece my quilt tops are still invaluable today. She has left a legacy with each quilter she has taught. I am so glad she was a person I got to know in my life’s journey. May you find comfort in the many beautiful quilts she made and memories all of you shared.

My sympathy to Jim and the whole family on your loss. I took my first quilt class with Barb at Adamsville church. I learned to love doing quilts and have made many more.
She was always patient and fun to be with. I was blessed to have known her.
