Betty I. Barber, age 95, of 9 Penn Ave., Greenville passed away Saturday evening, February 10, 2018 in The Grove at Greenville.
She was born in Greenville on January 28, 1923 a daughter of Francis C. and Laura L. (Williams) Wright. She attended the former Penn High School. On March 2,1940 Betty married Clifford A. Barber, he passed away November 23, 1992. She enjoyed crocheting, hunting, fishing, and camping.
Betty is survived by two sons; Francis A. “Fab” Barber of Greenville and Ronald L. Barber and his wife Donah of Greenville, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Isaphene Buterbaugh, and a daughter-in-law, Vicki Barber.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 44 S. Mercer St., Greenville, PA 16125.

So sorry for the loss of your loved one. Betty was a very special, wonderful, caring, loving, kind women. We were glad to call here our Aunt. We cannot express how much we loved here and told her every time we saw her. Sorry we couldn’t be there with family we are in Florida.
Fab, Ron and families, we are so sorry we couldn’t make it there this evening. You have our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mom. No matter the age, it is still so heart breaking to lose your beloved mom.
We know you will have many wonderful memories to fall back on later.

My deepest condolences to Betty’s family, she was a special lady. Always upbeat & enjoying life, & she had a good life! Always kind – so glad I got to hug her last summer. Peaceful rest Betty.
I loved her beyond words. Always kind and caring. I am so glad she was my mama! I will see her again in heaven, it is now even better place to go. She’s with Jesus now and is enjoying pampas company. Never a couple more in love.
