
Betty J. McClearn, age 82, of Railroad St., Jamestown passed away Tuesday evening, June 8, 2021 in UPMC Horizon Greenville.
She was born in Mercer on June 14, 1938 a daughter of Thomas and Betty V. (Adams) Dunn. She was a 1955 graduate of Mercer High School and was employed in the Laundry Department of Andover Village Nursing Home until her retirement in 2001. She belonged to a dart league, pool league, bowling league and in 1977 got her first 600 series. Betty truly loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Melissa Hollier and her husband Harold of Jamestown, Melinda “Lindy” McGill of Westford, Robin Hunter-Green and her husband Rick of Enterprise, AL, and Samantha Steele of Brookfield, OH; a son, Charles Hunter and his wife Leann of Adamsville; three grandchildren, Brian Hollier and his wife Kim of Hadley, Misty Pulford and her husband Ash of Jefferson, OH, Adam McGill of Jamestown; two step grandchildren, Tom Cox and his wife Kaylie of Greenville and Doug Cox of California; 10 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Robert Dale Hunter and Duncan Charles McClearn, Jr., two children, Edmund Hunter and Denise McClearn, a grandson, Kevin McGill, a sister, Margaret Taylor, and a son-in-law, Doug Cox.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Chuck's house 3794 Main St., Adamsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the family C/O the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation.
