Beverly G. Richards, age 89, of Fredonia Rd., Hempfield Twp., passed away Thursday, January 14, 2020.

She was born in Huntington, PA on November 19, 1931. She was a graduate of Huntington High School and had attended Juniata College. Bev was employed as a Secretary for twenty-five years at First National Bank in Greenville. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenville. Bev volunteered for many years at the former Hempfield V.F.D. Station 1 and had also volunteered at Greenville Hospital in the Hospitality Shop. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her cat, and was a true animal lover.

She is survived by her daughter; Kathy Strosser and her husband Mike of Greenville, a son; Lee O. Richards III of Erie and three grandchildren; Brent Richards, Jennifer Richards and Meredith Strosser. She was preceded in death by her parents; Harold and Kathryn Grafton , a son; Donald Richards and her previous husband Lee O. Richards, Jr.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
