I am so very sorry to hear of Carolyns passing. I always looked forward to seeing her when I worked at the Greenville Medical Center. She could always make me smile and I will always remember that smile she gave me. Please know you all are in My thoughts and prayers.
I feel as if the wind has been kicked out of me. Carolyn taught me so much about kindness, having a gentle spirit, and living into one’s faith. I recall when she was named Distinguished Woman of the Year by the Board of Commissioners for “making a lasting and significant impact on the life of citizens of Mercer County.” I am one one of those citizens and will forever be grateful for her life and her example. To Harry and the entire family, you have my heartfelt condolences. I grieve with you.
