Cheryl “Sherri” Kerr, age 68, of Kinsman Rd, W. Salem Twp., passed away Friday evening, May 13, 2016 in UPMC Greenville.
Mrs. Kerr was born on May 26, 1947 to George and Martha (Grant) Conover. She was employed as housekeeper for 20 years at Tara a Country Inn, Clark, PA and had previously worked as a security monitor at the Winner, Sharon, PA.
Sherri had a love of animals and was an abuse investigator for the Mercer County Humane Society for 35 years.
On July 31, 1965 she married Raymond C. Kerr, he survives at home. Also surviving are her father George Conover of Florida, two sons, Bryon D. Kerr and his wife Angela of Greenville, Aaron Lee Davis of Sharon, a daughter, a sister, Sandra Conover of Greenville, and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, Gary Grant Conover and George Conover, Jr.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, 5:00-7:00pm in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, PA.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercer County Humane Society, 3005 E. State St., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Ray my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have admired Sherri’s care and dedication to animals for so many years. What a special lady she was.
I am so glad that I got to see her at Rosie’s at Station One not too long ago. I had no idea she was ill. I’m sure she is in heaven taking care of all the animals that are
waiting for their owners to come. She will be missed by many, rest in peace my friend.
