Clifford A. Riffe, age 87, of Carlisle Rd., S. Pymatuning Twp., Transfer, PA passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in The Grove at Greenville.

He was born in Lindside, WV on January 31, 1936 to B.F. “Frank” and Virgie (McGhee) Riffe. Cliff attended Sharpsville Schools and The Woods Elementary School in Transfer. Since the age of 10, he was a farmer and operated his own farm in South Pymatuning Twp., until he fell from a roof in 1984 and became unable to work. In addition, Cliff also had been employed at the GATX Plant in Masury, OH and Greenville Steel Car. He was a member of Greenville Family Moose Lodge #276, where he was active with the Moose Legion and Senior Group. On August 30, 1958 in what is now Hillside Presbyterian Church, Greenville, he married the former Selva J. Hovis, she passed away on February 22, 2021.

Cliff is survived by his daughter; Vickie Somers of Transfer, two sons; Clifford “Kip” Riffe and his wife Cyndi and Randy Riffe and his wife Angelique, all of Greenville, a sister; Betty Moore of Hermitage, four grandchildren; Heather Riffe of North Carolina, Corinna Myers and her husband Zach of North Carolina, Randy Joe Riffe of Transfer and Savanna Lee of Greenville and two great-grandchildren; Carter Joseph Riffe and Brinley Grace Riffe. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant daughter; Lori Lynn Riffe, three sisters; DeLois Lang, Norma Ballard and Susie Riffe and four brothers; John Riffe, Richard Riffe, Carroll Riffe and William Riffe.
