Dan Fry, age 48, of Greenville passed away September 25, 2021 at UPMC Jameson, with his family by his side after a brief illness.
He was born March 22, 1973 in Greenville to Dan and Connie (Demaline) Fry. He was a 1991 graduate of Greenville High School and a 1995 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed as a Service Manager at Youngstown Mirror and Glass. On April 22, 2017 he married the former Heather Davidson. Dan spent his time involved in coaching and watching all of his son Lane's sporting events over the years.
He was a member of the PIAA High School Baseball Umpire Association and a long time member of the Reynold's VFW Wednesday Bowling League. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, kayaking, going to concerts, Pirate games, and Pitt football games. He loved fantasy football, watching Jeopardy and vacationing in Clearwater Beach.
He is survived by his son, Lane at home, his wife Heather, stepsons, Hunter and Cayde Davidson, his parents Richard and Connie Swartzbeck and Dan and Vivian Fry, a sister, Melissa (John) Blackson, his grandfather, Ray Fry, his in-laws, Joseph and and Nancy DePuy and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Fry.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 1:00-4:00pm in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
