Daniel "Pete" Augustine, age 66, of Adamsville Rd., Atlantic, passed away Tuesday morning October 25, 2016 in his residence after a long term illness.

He was born in Greenville on August 3, 1950 son of Benjamin and Ruth (Randall) Augustine.  He was a welder for 35 years at the former Trinity Industries in Greenville.  He was a member of Greenville Family Moose Center #276, Greenville V.F.W. Post #3374, C.L.V.F.D Station #3, and Hartstown Pumphouse #45.

Pete enjoyed hunting, playing cards, truck pulls and riding his motorcycle. Pete was a kind man with a heart of gold, his laughter was contagious and he will be missed by many.  He is survived by two daughters, Anne Walker and her husband Tom of Jamestown, Jenna Weaver of Greenville; two sisters, Linda Stright and her husband Bill of Atlantic, Ann Valesky of Atlantic; two brothers, Gary Augustine and wife Marcia of Greenville, Tom Augustine and his wife Denise of Greenville; two grandchildren, Dustin and Cheyenne Gramsky; also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lewy Augustine.
