David A. Herrick, age 63, of Ohle Rd., Perry Twp., Clarks Mills, passed away Monday afternoon, January 7, 2019 in the ER of UPMC Horizon Greenville, after suffering an apparent heart attack. 

He was born in Greenville on May 3, 1955 to Harold and Evelyn (Reigleman) Herrick.  Dave was a 1973 graduate of Reynolds High School and had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a Truck Driver for over thirty years and had retired from Dean Dairy, where he had been a driver for ten years.  Dave was a lifetime member of Community of Christ Church, Transfer, where he had served as a Deacon.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, enjoyed hunting and gardening, and was a member of Greenville Family Moose Center #276. 

On November 21, 1981, he married the former Donna J. Foltz, she survives at home.  Also survivng is his father; Harold Herrick of Greenville, a daughter; Rebecca Jean Herrick of Sharpsville, a brother; Donald Herrick and his wife Marlene of Vandergrift, two sisters; Diann Beilstein and her husband Dana and Darlene McCann and her husband Doug, all of Greenville, and a grandson; Matthew Alan Herrick.  He was preceded in death by his mother.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00am in Community of Christ Church, 145 Hamburg Rd., Transfer, PA, with Elder Jean Schultz, officiating.  Family and friends attending the service are invited to meet with family and share in a luncheon in the church social hall immediately following the serice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville.
