David J. Meadors, age 80, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Sunday morning, May 27, 2018 in The Grove at Greenville.
He was born in Greenville on January 10, 1938 to Jess and Geraldine (Ray) Meadors.
David was a 1956 graduate of St. Michael's High School. He was employed for 30 years in the paint department at the former Greenville Steel Car. David truly enjoyed hunting.
He survived by two children; Colette Meadors and Michael Meadors and his wife Cindi all of Mulbury, FL, a sister; Kathryn Martorelli of Greenville, a sister-in-law; Elaine Hanlon and her husband Ron of Stoneboro, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Denise Spaeth, a granddaughter, Felicia Albro, three sisters, Marilyn Tyson, Rosemary Brotherton, and Carol Webber, and a brother, Martin Meadors.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you, Kathy & the complete family at this time of sadness. Dave was a wonderful person to me and to all the people he met. I will always remember how great he and Bonnie was to me when I was younger and babysat for their kids. Kathy, you was surely a loving & caring sister to Dave. He always spoke so highly of you Kathy. May he finally be at PEACE now with OUR LORD! Deepest Sympathies to Kathy, Colette, Michael & the complete family.
