Donald L. Foulk, age 82, of Hittle Ave., Hempfield Twp., passed away at 11:00PM Monday,  May 16, 2016 in White Cliff Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Foulk was born in Greenville on October 6, 1933 to Fred and Dorothy Foulk.  Don was a 1951 graduate of Penn High School and had served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956.  Don had previously been employed at Greenville Tube Corporation and had retired from the parts department at Reznor.

He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Greenville, was a life member and a longtime volunteer firefighter with Hempfield Twp. V.F.D., was a life member of Greenville Family Moose Center #276, B.P.O.E. #145, Greenville VFW #3374, and as a Mason, he was a member of F&AM Eureka Lodge #290.  He had served as a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #51 and as an avid bowler, he had belonged to various leagues throughout the years.  His other interests included, camping, square dancing late wife, and rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams.

On June 28, 1952 he married the former Carolyn L. Humphrey, she passed away November 4, 1988.  He then married the former Edith A. (Amick) Shipley on August 20, 1996, she survives at home.  Also surviving are two sons, Wayne D. Foulk and Dennis J. Foulk, both of Greenville, a step-daughter, Malinda Hawkins and her husband Rod of Boonville, IN, a step-son, Brian Shipley and his wife Melissa of Greenville, five grandchildren, Megan Rodriguez, Sean Foulk, Kelly Foulk, Brytany Foulk and Nicole Hawkins, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, an infant son, Mark Foulk and a brother, William Foulk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hempfield Twp. V.F.D., 20 6th Avenue, Greenville, PA 16125.

    The time I spent with you [Dennis] and your parents.Many years ago as a teenager was very inviting and fun. Many memories will come to mind,embrace them.Shed a tear or laugh when you think of them.

    Donny was a good man. I have so many great memories with Donny & Hempfield VFD. He was a caring man. Prayers for the family. He will be missed. R.I.P. Brother.
