
Donald L. McClimans, age 80, of US HWY 322, Hartstown, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 17, 2016 in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA.
He was born in Jamestown, PA on July 20, 1936 son of Laverne and Marion (Gilbert) McClimans. He was a 1955 graduate of Jamestown High School and served in the United States Army from 1959-1962.
On June 14, 1963 he married Nancy (Hackett) McClimans; she passed away April 18, 2003. He was a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church. He had retired in 1985 from Avtex Corp., Meadville where he had been employed for 17 years and after his retirement he worked at Tops Quality Food Grocery Store in Meadville. Don truly enjoyed motorcycles, cars, and watching movies.
He is survived by a daughter, Traci Leija and her husband Sergio of Eagle, ID; a son, Troy McClimans and his wife Lori of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Marjorie Willis of Linesville, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers, Paul McClimans and James McClimans.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
