Dorothy “Dee” Rankin, age 87, of Greenville, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 in Saint John XXIII Home, Hermitage, PA.

She was born in McKees Rocks, PA on March 29, 1931 to Vasil and Anna (Sabajda) Macosko. She was a 1950 graduate of McKees Rocks High School. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Vicki Sutton of Orlando, FL and Lora Bak and her husband Dan of Glen Ellyn, IL; two sons, Kerry Rankin of Greenville and Daryl Rankin and his wife Amy of Carrollton, VA and a sister, Ellen Stempkowski and her husband Tom of Greensburg, PA and three grandchildren, Kate Sutton, Sarah Bak, and Matthew Bak.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Macosko, three sisters, Olga Redmerski, Ann Chalupa, and Maurye Pacasa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1600 Peninsula Dr. STE 15, Erie, PA 16505.

    I will miss seeing Aunt Dodo in Greenville while driving north to lake Erie. I always looked forward

    to our stop and the time spent .Condolences to all of my cousins
