Dorothy P. Wasser age 89, of 110 Fredonia Rd., Hempfield Twp., and formerly of N. High St., Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, April 30, 2017 in The Grove at Greenville.
She was born in Sharpsville, PA on August 17, 1927 to Roy J. Hoovler and Theresa (Myers) Hoovler. Dorothy attended Fredonia High School and was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. As a homemaker, she enjoyed baking, crafts, working on crossword puzzles and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On July 19, 1946 she married Charles M. Wasser, Sr., he passed away on October 7, 2014.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter; Cheryl Chase and her husband David of Greenville, five sons; Charles M. Wasser, Jr. of Greenville, Robert Wasser of Atlantic, Gerald Wasser and his wife Diane of Hubbard, OH, Phillip Wasser and his wife Jean of Greenville and John Wasser and his wife Christine of Greenville, three sisters; Jennie Shacklock, Veronica Nagy and Margaret Forney all of Greenville, fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters; Rosemary Holzapfel, Josephine O'Leary, Stella Baker and Lida Bartell and two brothers; Harry Hoovler and James Hoovler.
Memorial contribution may be made to St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 85 N. High St., Greenville, PA 16125.

I was so sad at Mrs Wasser’s passing. She was such a nice lady. Prayers of comfort for the family.
MY COUSINS,: It is with sorrow and grief that I tell you; your mother, my Aunt who was also my Godmother will be missed by me.
So sorry about Dorothy’s passing. We are so glad that we had the chance to see her and spend time with her. And we know Peg also enjoyed being with her too. She was such a nice lady.
