
Douglas J. Lewis, age 65, of Seager Ln., Meadville, and formerly of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, August 16, 2018 in his residence.
He was born in Greenville on July 16, 1953 to Frank L. and Mary Ann (Darlington) Lewis. Doug was a 1971 graduate of Greenville Senior High School. He was a member of Conneaut Lake V.F.D. Station #3 and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and NASCAR fan. Doug was very compassionate and helpful to his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his daughter; Lesli Jo Kendall of Transfer, three sisters; Darlene Kelly and Deborah Gosnell and her husband Ronald, all of Greenville and Diane Spencer and her husband John of North Port, FL, a brother; Frank L. Lewis, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Adamsville, two grandchildren and two aunts; Kathryn Heinlen of Ocean Pines, MD and Gertrude Warren of Greenville; an uncle Gary Darlington of Pittsburgh.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law; Ronald Kelly.
Private family services will be held in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.

The Lord reached down and took him home to peace and eternal life. Our childhoods were full of si many memories. I will pray for his soul ss he joins the faithful departed.
