Edith L. Hunt, age 81, of Rocky Glen Rd., Adamsville passed away Tuesday evening, October 19, 2021 in UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley, Farrell.

She was born in Greenville on August 30, 1940 a daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth (McNeilly) Waid. She was a 1958 graduate of Pymatuning Joint Junior Senior High. On January 14, 1967 Edith married Marcus A. Hunt, he passed away September 21, 2013. She started working at Chase Laundry in Greenville which became Double K Laundry, retiring after 20 years of service. Edith enjoyed gardening, trips to the fair, bird watching, and collecting elephant statues.

She is survived by three children, Marcus A. Hunt, David B. Hunt, and Tammy L. Hunt all of Adamsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers Charles Polley and Harold “Jim” Polley.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 4:00-7:00pm in Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown. Burial will be private in Rock Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
