
Esther L. Means, age 65, of S. Mercer St., Greenville, passed away Wednesday evening, November 2, 2016 in UPMC Horizon Greenville after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Means was born in Geneva, PA on May 16, 1951 to James W. and Elsie M. (Whyte) Means. She was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School and was a homemaker. From 1999-2013 Esther helped with the set up of demolition derby's at various fairs throughout the area. She was very fond of her cat “Boo Boo” and she truly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Esther is survived by her husband of 40 years, Don Reynolds at home, a daughter Angela Brier and her husband Gregory of Greenville; two step-daughters, Susan Langdon of Greenville and Angela Bloom of Florida; two step-sons, David Bloom of Arkansas and Dan Reynolds of Linesville; three sisters, Wendy McCartney of Greenville, Sherry Calvin of Utica, PA and Pam Mazurkewiz of Titusville; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant grandson, Anthony.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, PA 16125.
