Evelyn R. Peidle, age 87, of Burghill, OH, passed away peacefully Friday evening, July 13, 2018, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Pulaski, PA, on February 9, 1931, a daughter of Charles and Eleanor (Sveighart) Radish. She was a 1949 graduate of the former Penn High School. She was employed as a secretary for 10 years at the former Chicago Bridge & Iron Co., Greenville.
Evelyn was a member of Scared Heart Church, Sharon, and enjoyed traveling and Art. On October 10, 1959, Evelyn married Joseph Peidle, Jr., who passed away on December 8, 2013.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Peidle of Burghill, OH; a son, Joseph David Peidle of Arlington, MA; two sisters, Patricia “Pat” McElhaney of Jamestown, PA and Charlene Herron of Greenville.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Thomas Radish.

I wish it was possible for us to be there for the viewing and the funeral. Evelyn was so much a part of our lives from her role as my godmother, to family holidays and picnics. She and Joe were included in the handful of family members who visited Mom after she moved to Nebraska. Later she shared a honeysuckle vine from Mom’s porch so that Michelle’s children will have similar memories of the scent of early summer.
