I was telling a Greenville childhood friend just a couple months back how she (then, Mrs. Marts) was the kindest, most patient teacher I ever had. I mean that. I was surprised to see that I had her as a teacher, only her second year at East Side. Sincere sympathies to her family and friends.
Please accept my most sincere sympathy. Ev and I taught first grade across the hall from each other for years. What a classy lady she was. My thoughts and prayers.to her family.
