Frances Gail Shaw, age 81, of 110 Fredonia Rd., Hempfield Twp., passed away Monday morning, December 12, 2016 in The Grove at Greenville. 

She was born in Friedens, PA on June 7, 1935 the daughter of Joesephine (Durand) Mayes Hoffman.  She was a 1954 graduate of Penn High School and had been employed for twenty-five years at Roamers Industries, Masury, Ohio. 

Frances was a member of the former Greencrest Baptist Church in Pymatuning Twp.  She is survived by her daughter, Debra Walters of Louisville, KY, her son, David Shaw of Sharon, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Louise Hartill of Warren, OH. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Shaw, her son, Douglas C. Shaw, her mother, Josephine Hoffman and her husband Virgil, a sister, Nancy Pitcher and her brother, Clyde Mayes.

Per the deceased's wishes, there will be no services.  Burial of cremains will be in Parklawn Cemetery, Jamestown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, PA.
