Gerald T. Shaw, age 65, of Espyville passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 9, 2022.

He was born in West Moreland County on May 21, 1957 a son of Gerald and Ruth (McClintock) Shaw. Tom served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Coral Sea during Vietnam. He was an owner/operator truck driver for 47 years before retiring from Daily Express. He enjoyed working on and driving his Semi, spending time with grandchildren, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan.

He is survived by three children, Melissa Reffner and her husband Scott of Greenville, Robert Shaw of Espyville, and Sarah Shaw and her companion Harley Gessler of Jamestown; his lifelong companion, Roberta Shaw of Espyville; three brothers, John Shaw and his wife Bonnie of Youngwood, PA, James Shaw of North Huntington, PA, and Robert Shaw and his wife Arlynn of Irwin, PA; six grandchildren, Hailey, Kyleigh, Lyndsey, Jacob, Serenity, and Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hillman Cancer Center, University of Pittsburgh, 128 North Craig St., Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

    RIP Tom. You will be missed by all of your friends and relatives. My sincere condolences to your family and all of us that loved you. I always counted you as my Brother-in-Law.
