Glenn E. Preston, age 76, of S. Maysville Rd., W. Salem Twp., passed away Monday morning, July 5, 2021 after a six month battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Greenville on November 10, 1944 to LeRoy F. and Adelaide (Kirkner) Preston. He was a 1962 graduate of Reynolds High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1968. On October 6, 1973 he married the former Susan Baldwin, she survives. Glenn was employed as a case room worker at Dean Dairy for nineteen years and had been previously been employed for eighteen years in the store room of the former Chicago Bridge and Iron Co. He attended Crossroads Christian Fellowship and he enjoyed coon hunting.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons; Jeffrey G. Preston and Holly of St. Augustine, FL and Daniel J. Preston and his wife Shonna of Sharon and two grandchildren; Jack and Anna. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Donna Jean Preston a brother; James Preston and a nephew Gary Preston.
Cremation was chosen and no formal services will be held. However, Sue invites all family and friends to drop by the house anytime during the week of July 12th . Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 805 Vernon Rd., Greenville, PA 16125. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
