Janet K. Wagner, age 72, of Tower Road, Greene Twp., Jamestown, passed away Sunday afternoon August 14, 2016 in Whitecliff Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Mrs. Wagner was born in Greenville on October 21, 1943 daughter of George and Emma (Barnett) Herrick.   She married Jerry C. Wagner on December 8, 1961, and he passed away January 12, 2010. She was a 1961 graduate of Reynolds High School.

She was a teacher for fourteen years at the Business Institute of Pennsylvania in Sharon after graduating from the school with honors and also worked with her husband for 11 years at Jerry's Lock and Key in Jamestown.  She was a member of Community of Christ Church, New Hamburg, PA.  She was a member of Jamestown Fireman's Auxiliary and of the former ABWA American Business Women's Association chapter torch bearer, Greenville. 

Janet is survived by a son, Joseph H. Wagner and his wife Jo Marie of Cleveland, OH; two daughters, Julie A. Wagner Leonard and her husband Michael of Akron, OH, Jennifer Pier of Jamestown; three sisters, Joyce Eakin of Jamestown, Nancy Herrick of Meadville, Nola Werner and her husband Lee of Petone, IL; two grandsons, Connor Wagner of Cleveland, OH, Wyatt Pier of Jamestown; a granddaughter, Gwenyth Pier of Jamestown. 

She was preceded  in death by her parents.
