
Dr. Jennifer Lynn Turner, formerly of Greenville, passed away at her home in Lebanon, PA on May 4, 2018; she was 48.
Dr. Turner was born in Greenville on January 31, 1970 to John and Judith (Heisser) Turner. She was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Penn State University and went on to complete her medical education at Hershey Medical School in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She practiced medicine for 17 years as a general surgeon in Texas and Pennsylvania.
Including her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Michelle Mueller and her husband Gary of Greenville and Susan Turner of Morristown, New Jersey, and an uncle Bert Heisser of Canton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Betty Turner and Charles and Irene Heisser.
A private family memorial will be held with Rev. V. David Foradori, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Strayhaven, 94 Donation Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Jen’s passing. Worked with her daily at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon PA. Our staff and her patients will miss her! She was a fabulous physician and kind hearted individual. My sympathy to her family during your time of grief. Blessings!

I have so many fun memories with Jennifer! (She LOVED her hair!) We were friends in elementary and middle school. She was so sweet, kind, and smart. We share the same birth date and I always thought that was special. I knew that she would be someone amazing when we grew up. She touched so many lives. Just learned today ( was planning on a routine return procedure that my favorite Dr in no longer here … Saddens me to hear this … She actually saved my life in 2012 . As one of her patients at the Good Samaritan , I really loved this Dr !! What a great person and caring Dr she was .. I’m sure she is greatly missed 🙁 ..
