Jo Ann R. Wilson, age 83, of E. Jamestown Rd., W. Salem Twp., passed away Saturday morning, August 6, 2022 in The Grove at Greenville.
She was born in Greenville on February 24, 1939 a daughter of Theodore and Margaret (Everall) Royal. She was a 1957 graduate of Penn High School and on July 22, 1978 Jo Ann married Gordon L. “Nick” Wilson, he survives. She was previously employed as a medical secretary for various doctor's in the Greenville area for many years. She was a member of Greenville VFW Auxiliary where she served as treasurer.
In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by three sons, James D. Wasser of Peosta, IA, Jay S. Wasser of Jamestown, and Matthew Wilson of Volant; a daughter, Jo Ann Phillips of Waterloo, IA; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Donald Royal, John Royal, and Harold Royal.
