Our hearts are heavy as we experience your loss. We cherish so many memories of John; being his neighbors and friends was such a blessing. We shared many precious things in common: love for God, family, home, yard and gardening. I especially was touched whenever He would speak of the Lord and his tender heart would spill tears. We know he is with his Maker and one day we will again hear his incomparable laugh. Unfortunately, we will be out of town and will not be able to attend his memorial on the 4th, but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
