
Jonathan W. Thompson, age 37, of N. Main St., Sandy Lake, PA, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, September 16, 2021 in his residence.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 20, 1983 to Raymond and Sabrina (Dunn) Thompson. Jonathan was a 2002 graduate of Lakeview High School and had served in the U.S. Navy. He had previously been employed as a guard at Cambridge Springs State Correctional Institution. Jonathan was an avid hunter and fisherman and had previously attended Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his two sons; Jonathan “J.J” Thompson and Ethan Thompson and his previous wife; Ashley Thompson, all of Stoneboro, his brother; Chad Thompson of Sandy Lake. Also surviving are Butch and Pat Alexander of Sandy Lake, who helped raise him.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
