T. Joyce McGuire, age 64, of Orange Way, Greenville, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday morning, March 5, 2019.
She was born in Clarksburg, MD on December 18, 1954 to Richard H. and Thelma (Schell) Spurlock. Joyce was a 1973 graduate of Greenville Senior High School and received her L.P.N. Certification from Mercer County Vo-Tech. For the past thirty years she has been employed as an L.P.N. at St. Paul's Continuing Care Community. Joyce was a member of Women of The Moose #276 and she enjoyed going out for dinner with friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters; Megan Renee Eddy and her husband Nicholas of Lisbon, CT and Amanda Joyce Anderson and her husband Mark of Pittsburgh, a son; Anthony Scott McGuire of Greenville, two sisters; Patricia Lobbins and her husband Sam of Conneaut Lake and her twin sister T. Joy Tate and her husband Ken of Jamestown, two brothers; Richard Spurlock and his wife Salle of Greenville and Dwayne Spurlock of Mars, PA, her companion Gerald Hoover of Greenville and three grandchildren; Serenity Jane Phillips, Amelia Rose Eddy and Alex James Eddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Douglas Spurlock.

My dearest condolences! I enjoyed every minute that I spoke with her. She was always soft spoken and definitely had a beautiful heart and soul. So glad I worked with such a wonderful woman for as long as I did. Rest in peace Joyce, fly high pretty angel.

Joyce was my neightbor, coworker and friend. She always had a smile and a warm hello to me and I want her family to know how special she was. RIP Joyce
