Julia Weaver, age 90, of Greenville, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 28, 2020 in Quality Life Services, Mercer.
She was born in Greenville on August 6, 1930 to Giacamo and Maria (Zappavigna) Tofani. Julia was a 1949 graduate of St. Michael High School and on May 29, 1952 Julia married Myron W. “Bill” Weaver, he passed away October 11, 2010. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville.
Julia was a past volunteer at Greenville Regional Hospital and enjoyed cooking for friends and family. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Weaver Kennedy and her husband Steve of Lancaster, OH, Patricia Ross and her husband Jon of Greenville; two sons, Doug Weaver and his wife Shannon of Salmon, ID, Steven Weaver of Cleveland, OH, a brother, Vincent Tofani of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, Josephine Trimble, Angie Giardina, Antoinette Bresnan, Frances Clavin, and a brother, Frank Tofani.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael School Endowment Fund, 85 N. High Street, Greenville, PA 16125 or Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.

My Deepest Sympathy goes out to the entire family. May the Lord bring each of you Peace as you Celebrate Julia’s life, a life well lived a life full of Love, Compassion, and Caring for friends and family. It has been my extrem pleasure to have known her Bill and the 4 Children throughout my life, I never really connected all of the dots until this moment… if anyone was a friend of the extended Tofani-Weaver family then you are a part of the family. Life is but a vapor but I have fond memories staying all night and playing at the farm. Aunt Julie always made you feel special when she saw you. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord comfort you at this time.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Ironically, my girls and I still reminisce and chuckle about the memories of Santa Claus coming to your parents house when the kids were little.We still get out the pictures now and then. I am sure Billy is happy to have her back! She was a great lady.

I am so sorry to read of your mom’s passing. I did not know her, but did know Dog and Sue, You both were, , and I’m sure still are, smart, kind, genuine people. I imagine those traits started at home with your mom setting the example. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
