Laura Marie Royer, age 85, formerly of Tower Rd., Jamestown, passed away Sunday morning, November 5, 2017 in Avalon Springs Nursing Center. 

She was born in Greenville on October 13, 1932 to LeRoy N. Cotton, Sr. and Laura L. (Reinhart) Cotton.  She was a 1950 graduate of Penn High School and was a member of Adamsville Presbyterian Church.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping for shoes and purses.

On February 8, 1955 she married Charles L. Royer, Jr., he passed away on August 13, 1999. 

Survivors include a daughter; Royann Chambers and her husband George of Greenville, four grandchildren; Nora Urey, Samantha Dawson, Danielle Chambers and Joshua Chambers and six great-grandchildren; Cadence Dawson, Cameron Dawson, Ryan Dawson, Parker Urey, Isaac Urey and Kaylee Chambers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son; Charles L. Royer III and a brother; LeRoy N. Cotton, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to Adamsville Presbyterian Church, 3879 Main St., Adamsville, PA 16110.

    Royann so sorry to hear about your Mom. I always enjoyed seeing the two of you out shopping. You are very blessed to have had such a loving Mom! My Mom changed her address to Heaven in 2008, and I still think about her everyday! You are in my thoughts & prayers! Hugs! Susan Bennett

    Royann – I’m way late in this post as thought maybe I could find your physical address to write. No luck. I was sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. You inherited her great smile!
