Lena J. Redzinak, age 95, of S. Main St., Greenville, passed away Friday afternoon, May 4, 2018 in UPMC Presbyterian Pittsburgh.
She was born in Stoneboro, PA on June 13, 1922 to John and Rhoda (Lean) Patterson. Lena was a 1941 graduate of Stoneboro High School. On May 4, 1946 she married Bennie C. Redzinak, he passed away on March 28, 2003.
She was a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greenville.
She is survived by her son; Charles M. Redzinak, a grandson Michael Redzinak and a sister-in-law; Betty Patterson of Grove City.
Lena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers; Henry Patterson, John Patterson and William Patterson and four sisters; Mary Ann Smith, Grace Simpson, Ada Fontain and Violet Morford.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 73 Clinton St., Greenville, PA 16125.

Charlie, I was so sorry to see that your mother has passed away. We just lost my Dad and I know how nice it was to hear from old friends and classmates and share some memories with them. I’M so sorry to hear that Lena passed away. It was a great pleasure to do her hair when I did. I will miss seeing her at Veados getting tickets. She will be greatly missed.
Charlie, I just heard about your mom and I’m so very sorry I didn’t make it to the calling hours. Please know that she is in a better place and you and Mike are so very lucky to have had her with you as long as you did. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
