Leon D. “Lee” Holler, age 73, of N. Maysville Rd.,  Greenville passed away Wednesday evening in Sharon Regional Health System. 

He was born in Mercer on March 27, 1944 a son of Harold and Sarah (Fry) Holler. He was a 1962 graduate of Hickory High School and served his country in the United States Air Force. On July 3, 1971 Lee married the former Carol Beighley, she survives.  He was employed as a crane operator at the former Greenville Tube Corp. and Sawhill Tubular, retiring in 2004. 

Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, family picnics, playing horseshoes, and working on equipment. Lee was very proud and found great pleasure in his farming with his John Deere tractors and caring for his animals. He will be dearly missed by family and friends!

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Melissa Clyde and her husband David of Greenville; a son, Benjamin Holler and his wife Tamara of Barnesville, OH; a sister, Marian Dillon and her husband Tom of Edwardsville, IL; a brother, Wayne Holler of Baker, FL; two half brothers, Samuel Holler of Greenville, Daniel Holler and his wife Brenda of Hampton, VA; a half sister, Mary Knight of Springboro, PA; two grandchildren, Paige Clyde and Cheyenne Clyde and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
