honors at the conclusion of the mass.  All in attendance
are required to wear a mask. Burial will be in St.
Michael Cemetery.

Leonard C. “Pooch” Miller, Sr., age 93, formerly of Hempfield Ave., W. Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, December 22, 2021 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community.

He was born in Greenville on June 16, 1928 to Carl D. and Irene D. (Heinz) Miller. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1949. Pooch was employed for forty-three years at the Bessemer & Lake Erie R.R., where he worked as a car inspector and carman welder, retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church and a life member of the Greenville Italian Home Club. Pooch enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with family.

On December 12, 1950 he married the former Edith J. Humphrey, she passed away on January 3, 2005. He is survived by his two sons, Leonard C. Miller, Jr. and his wife Debbie and Rodney Miller and his wife Rebecca,, all of Greenville, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant daughter, Phyllis Miller, a sister, Mary Haverdick and a great granddaughter, Ashley Armagost.

Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd., Suite #130, Lanham, MD 20706. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
