To the Truax family: My deepest condolences on the passing of LeRoy, I remember meeting him nearly 30 years ago when Mercer County had their Fire School weekends. Then when I was Rescue Captain, then FF/EMT at West Salem, I have a lot of great memories. He taught me how to pump the old Tanker 73 (GMC). Not only has your family lost a great man, the fire service also has lost a great man. I wish I would have thanked him, for everything when I had the chance. Once again, my deepest condolences.
