Leslie A. Stevenson, age 78, of Halfway Rd., Jamestown, passed away Friday afternoon, January 22, 2021 in Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.
She was born in Chicago, IL on August 24, 1942 a daughter of Clarence and Phyllis (Nelson) Johnson. She was a 1960 graduate of Pulaski High School, Milwaukee, WI and on May 17, 1964 Leslie married Gerald “Jerry” Stevenson, he survives. She was previously employed as a secretary at Thiel College and also at Andover Industries, Meadville. She was an election board member for Greene Township for many years. Leslie enjoyed boating, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Smith and her husband Duane of Saegertown; a son, Mark Stevenson of Greenville; two brothers, Phil Johnson and his wife Barbara of Pooler, GA, Jeff Johnson and his wife Mary Beth of Oak Creek, WI; five granddaughters, Nicole Smith of Meadville, Hannah Smith of Saegertown, Jordan Stevenson of Erie, Sara Stevenson of Jamestown, and Samantha Stevenson of Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Mike Johnson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Marquette Hospice House, 13465 N. Wayland Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.

It was an honor to have met and be neighbors with such a wonderful woman. She loved to sit on her front porch and read or sit with Jerry while gardening. She will be missed dearly. Our hearts go out to the family.

Jerry and family, I am so very sad to hear about Leslie. I hope and pray for comfort for everyone.
So sorry to hear of Leslies passing. I have missed her and stopped at their home various times but no one answered. My condolences to Jerry, Kim and Duane and the rest of the family.
