Linda M. Truax, age 73, of N. Diamond St., Greenville passed away Sunday evening in St. Paul's.
She was born in Greenville on August 13, 1945 a daughter of Oscar and Matilda (Mowery) Saylor. She was a 1963 graduate of Reynolds High School and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
On December 18, 1965 Linda married Leroy Truax, he survives. She was previously employed at the former Trinity Industries for over 30 years and then Advantage Health Care for 5 years. She was a life member of West Salem V.F.D. Auxilliary and enjoyed camping at Holiday Camp Land in Andover, OH where she had been a member since 1990.
Linda is survived by her husband of Greenville, a daughter; Dyana L. Thompson and her husband Donald of Greenville, a son; Jeffrey M. Truax of Dumfries, VA, two sisters; Beverly Hebert and her husband Clifford of Atlantic, Brenda Bernard and her husband Charles of Transfer, Darrell Saylor and his wife Dottie of Hadley, Ralph Saylor and his wife Kathy of Greenville, three grandchildren, Michele Ohl, Elizabeth Thompson, and Seth Thompson; two great grandchildren, Keri and Evelyn Ohl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Kenneth Saylor, and a great granddaughter, Matilda Jane Ohl.
