Madalene A. DeTullio, age 93, of W. Homer St., W. Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Friday morning, July 29, 2022 in her residence.
She was born in Greenville on September 13, 1928 to Ignatius and Pauline (Benkovsky) Tomasovic. Madalene was a graduate of St. Michael High School and was a Homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, where she volunteered visiting the elderly in local nursing homes. She enjoyed cooking, flowers and gardening, painting, and spending time with her family.
On June 22, 1950 she married Peter C. DeTullio, he passed away on July 29, 1993. She is survived by her three sons, David A. DeTullio and his wife Vicki of Katy, TX, Paul M. DeTullio and his wife Julie of Grant, FL and Mark J. DeTullio of Greenville, five grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Steven, Kenneth and Sandra and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Katerine Fanson, Mary Twietmeyer and Helen Harpst and seven brothers, John Tomasovic, Steve Tomasovic, Joe Tomasovic, Frank “Hap” Tomasovic, James Tomasovic, Ed Tomasovic and Paul Tomasovic.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 85 N. High St., Greenville, PA 16125. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
