Madelyn M. Oaks, age 85, of Jamestown passed away Tuesday morning, December 6, 2022 in Jefferson Healthcare Center, Jefferson, OH.
She was born in Greenville on April 16, 1937 a daughter of Richard “Tachie” and Helen (Keyser) Fry. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was previously employed at Packard Electric for 33 years. Madelyn enjoyed quilting, sewing, bingo, playing cards, traveling, trips to the casino, and O.D. Anderson bus trips.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy White and her husband Gary of Jamestown, Barbara Fuller of Andover, OH; three sisters, Nyla Groover of Westford, Wendy Knapp of Andover, Becky Fry of Greenville; a brother, Richard Fry and his wife Sherry of Linesville; three grandchildren, Teresa Currey and her husband Bo, Michelle Miller and her husband Pete, Eric Fuller and his wife Ashley; four great grandchildren, Kayla, Abby, Hailey, and Eva.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Harold Fry.
My deepest condolences to the family of Madeline. I remember her in my younger years hanging out with her daughters and sisters. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Was so sorry to hear of Madelyn’s passing. I have enjoyed many hours of laughter playing cards with her and will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
