Margaret M. “Margie” Haller, age 83, of Lininger Rd., W. Salem Twp., passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in her residence.

She was born in Greenville on July 24, 1938 to Edward and Viva (Allison) Rimer. Margie was a 1956 graduate of Penn High School and had worked in food service at Reynolds High School for thirty years. She was an active member of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, where she served as a Deacon, sang in the choir and helped with funeral dinners. Margie enjoyed crocheting and giving away her afghans. She very much enjoyed attending and supporting her grandchildren's activities.

She married George J. Haller in 1960 and he passed away in 1986. She is survived by her son, Bill Haller and his wife Evie, her daugher, Robin Emmett and her husband Jeff, a sister, Chrys Wolfgang and her husand Wayne, all of Greenville, three grandchildren, George Emmett, Lou Emmett and Hannah Camp and her husband Daniel and a great-grandchild, Zelda Camp. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Edward Rimer, Jr., two sisters, Ruth Ann Rimer and Elizabeth Herbert, and a grandson Joe Haller.

    To Margie’s Family,
    May God hold you in the palm of his hand & take away your pain. We’re so very sorry for your loss of Margie.
    It’s also a very painful loss to our class of 1956, as a lot of us were pretty close friends as well as classmates with Margie.
    We will all miss her terribly.
