Margaret J. “Peg” Painter, age 81, formerly of Delaware Twp., Fredonia, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 21, 2016 in Bourbonnais, IL.
She was born in Greenville on April 7, 1935 to Paul E. and Thelma (Francis) Loutzenhiser. She was a 1954 graduate of the former Penn High School and had worked as a dress maker as well as making and selling crafts at local craft shows.
Peg was a member of Fredonia Presbyterian Church, Fredonia were she had served as a Deacon. She had been active with the Keystone Blind Association social groups and very much enjoyed going fishing.
On November 26, 1955, she married Royal James Painter; he preceded her in death on September 17, 2008.
She is survived by three sons, Mark S. Painter and his wife Marilyn of Grove City, David B. Painter of Lowville, OH, Richard C. Painter and his wife Josephine of Bourbonnias, IL; a sister, Cinda Loutzenhiser of Greenville; six grandchildren; Jonathan, Jacob, Beth, Craig, Amanda and Isaac and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son James A. Painter and three brothers, Jack Loutzenhiser, Don Loutzenhiser, and Paul Loutzenhiser.

Sorry for the loss of such a wonderful friend of my Aunt Marylou King. She always talked well of her friend, Peg. I felt like I knew her even though we never met. Sincere sympathy and prayers for your family.
