Margaret "Peg" (Rodgers) Vang, age 91, of Mapleton St., S. Shenango Twp., Jamestown, passed away Thursday morning, October 20, 2016 in The Grove at Greenville.
She was born on November 1, 1924. Peg was employed as a realtor in the Greenville area for several real estate companies. In 1984 she married Paul D. Vang, he passed away in 2009.
Peg enjoyed reading, cooking, listening to classical music, and traveling with her husband Paul.
Cremation was chosen, and there will be no public services. Arrangements were handled by Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St. Jamestown, PA.

My condolences to you. May perpetual light shine upon her. I rented an apartment off Peg and Paul in the mid eightys. I loved her. She was like a mothers hen to me. She will be sadly missed. GOD bless.

Peg was the most generous, honest and hard working woman we knew. And when you worked for Peg you became her family. We loved her. Rest in peace dear friend.

Our family was saddened to read in today’s Meadville Tribune legal notice that Peg has passed away. She ran my dad’s Greenville Real Estate office for many years and they were dear friends. Dad has been in failing health in recent months and in various hospitals the past month, currently rehabilitation. When he heard the news he said she was a private person and didn’t want an obituary. Many fond memories.
