Mary A. Jennings, age 97, of Clarksville St., Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, November 27, 2021 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community.
She was born in Greenville on September 16, 1924 to Joseph and Petrene (Slamka) Selnekovic. Mary attended St. Michael's Schools and had been employed for fourteen years at Packard Electric, had been the owner/operator with her late husband of Fred and Mary's Bar and had been the owner of Mode-O-Day Clothing Store. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, where she had bowled in the church Thursday League. During the war, she had been a volunteer at Camp Reynolds. Mary was a past member of the Greenville Italian Home Club, Greenville VFW Post #3374 and Greenville Family Moose Center #276. She had played the accordian for many years and had been active with the Penn-Ohio Button Box. Mary was an avid bingo player and enjoyed trips to the casino. On June 24, 1949 she married Frederick T. Jennings, he passed away on November 15, 2013.
She is survived by her three daughters, Shirley Kerpan and her husband Bill, Susan McDeavitt and her companion Randy Beatty, all of Greenville and Monica Kraml of Kinsman, three sons, Dennis Banic and his wife Bonnie, Tom Jennings and David Jennings and his wife Diane, all of Greenville, a sister, Josephine Selnekovic and a sister-in-law, Raylene Selnekovic of Greenville, fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Joseph Selnekovic, Paul Selnekovic and Andrew Selnekovic, a sister, Theresa Chokas and a great-granddaughter, Alexia Cascio.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 85 N. High St., Greenville, PA 16125.

So sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. She was always so sweet and fun to be around. Prayers of comfort for the entire family. She sure lived life to the fullest and will not be forgotten.
