Mary E. Kidwell, age 94, of E. Jamestown Rd. Greene Twp., Jamestown, passed away Friday morning April 16, 2021 in Marquette Hospice House, Meadville. She was born in Youngstown, OH on January 27, 1927 a daughter of William Leroy and Elizabeth S. (Hodge) McCrea.
She was a 1944 graduate of Jamestown High School and on February 5, 1949 Mary married Omar Kidwell, he passed away November 22, 2020. Mary attended Jamestown Presbyterian Church. She was employed as the head cashier at A&P Company for 28 years. After retirement, Omar and Mary would spend their winter's in Venis, FL.
She is survived by three nieces, Rhonda Mariacher of Jamestown, Joyce Woodin of Akron, OH, Jennie Lynn McCrea of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; two nephews, Rob McElhaney of Jamestown and Larry McCrea of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four siblings, Harold McCrea, Burt McCrea, Jennie McElhaney, and Joseph McCrea.
